This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we do not collect, and how we use the limited data necessary to provide our VPN service.
Our approach to your privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not ask for your identity and we do not build profiles of who you are. We collect and retain only the minimum information required to operate your account and deliver the service.
Information we collect
When you create a WorxVPN account, we ask only for:
- E-mail address — used to deliver login credentials, service notices, and support communication.
- Username — your VPN login name.
- Password — stored in encrypted form for authentication.
- Nickname — an optional display name for your account. A nickname is not personal identity data; it is not linked to your real name, address, or other identifying details.
We do not request or store your legal name, postal address, phone number, date of birth, government ID, or any other information that would identify you as a natural person.
No-logs policy
WorxVPN operates a strict no-logs policy. We do not monitor, record, or store:
- your browsing activity or websites visited,
- your connection timestamps or session logs,
- your originating IP address while using the VPN,
- DNS queries or traffic content.
We cannot share what we do not have. Your online activity through WorxVPN remains private.
Payment records
We retain payment-related records linked to your customer account solely to fulfil our legal and tax obligations. This includes transaction references, amounts, dates, and payment status. We do not store payment card numbers or full card details — card processing is handled by our payment providers (such as Stripe or Revolut).
Subscriptions are not auto-renewed. You choose when to extend your service.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent customer data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
- We do not track your activity across the internet.
Referral cookie
If you arrive on our site through a link from one of our affiliate partners (a link containing ?ref= or ?aff=), or if you enter a partner discount code during checkout, we store a single first-party cookie named wvaff on the worxvpn.net domain. It holds only the partner identifier, an optional coupon identifier, a random visitor identifier, and a timestamp, all protected by a signature so the value cannot be modified. The cookie expires after 60 days.
Its sole purpose is to apply your partner discount at checkout and to credit the correct partner with the referral commission. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other websites, and it carries no personal data. If you never use a partner link or code, the cookie is never created. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings; the only consequence is that a partner discount will no longer be applied automatically.
Our partners see aggregate conversion data only. Customer e-mail addresses shown in the partner portal are always masked, and partners never receive your account credentials or VPN activity.
Data retention
Account credentials and subscription status are kept for as long as your account is active. Payment records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your WorxVPN account and personal data at any time via our Delete Account page. After a verified request we deactivate the account, remove VPN credentials, and clear profile fields (nickname, address, e-mail). Payment records required for tax and accounting obligations are retained and remain linked to the anonymized account ID.
