These terms govern participation in the affiliate program of the WorxVPN service, operated by Globe Data Ltd. (the “Company”). By submitting the affiliate application you (the “Partner”) accept these terms in the version valid at the time of your application.
1. Becoming a partner
- Anyone may apply, as a business or as an individual. Applications are reviewed manually and the Company may decline an application without stating a reason.
- The Partner must be able to receive payments to a bank account or Revolut account in EUR or USD and must provide accurate billing and payout details.
- One person or company may hold one affiliate account. Duplicate accounts may be closed and the related commissions cancelled.
2. Commission budget and customer discount
The Partner receives a budget of 25 % of the amount actually paid by the referred customer, unless a different budget has been agreed in writing. The Partner decides in the partner portal how to split this budget:
- up to 15 % may be given to the customer as a discount,
- the remainder of the budget is the Partner’s commission.
The discount cap is enforced by the system. A change of the split applies to new orders only; it never changes commissions that already exist.
The following plans are excluded from both the discount and the commission because they serve as a trial step before a real subscription: WEEK. A purchase of an excluded plan still creates the binding between the customer and the Partner, so the Partner earns from the customer’s later paid subscriptions.
3. Attribution
- A customer is attributed to the Partner through a referral link (
?ref=/?aff=) or through a coupon code entered at checkout. - The referral cookie is valid for 60 days from the last click. Before the first purchase, the last click wins.
- After the first purchase the customer is bound to the Partner and the Partner earns from that customer’s further orders, including renewals, for the attribution period configured on the partner account.
- A coupon code entered at checkout takes precedence over the cookie.
4. When a commission is earned
- A commission is created when the customer’s payment is confirmed and stays pending for 14 days (the refund window).
- After the hold period the commission is approved automatically, provided the payment is still recorded as paid and not refunded.
- If the order is refunded or charged back, the commission is reversed. If it had already been paid out, the amount is deducted from the Partner’s next payout.
- Commissions from orders where the Partner appears to be the customer are held for manual review.
5. Payouts
- Payouts are made in EUR or USD, in the currency chosen by the Partner. Commissions in other currencies are converted using the rate recorded at the moment the commission is approved.
- A payout is created when the approved balance reaches the threshold of the chosen payment method (Revolut 50, SEPA 100, SWIFT 300), or on the monthly payout run from day 5 of the month if the balance is above the absolute minimum — whichever comes first.
- Payments are due within 14 days of the statement date.
- Bank charges of the Partner’s own bank and any intermediary bank charges on SWIFT transfers are borne by the Partner.
- Incorrect payout details are the Partner’s responsibility. Costs of a returned or repeated transfer may be deducted from the next payout.
6. Self-billing agreement
By joining the program the Partner agrees to self-billing for commission settlements:
- For every payout the Company issues a commission statement containing the Partner’s and the Company’s legal details, the period, an itemised breakdown of the commissions and the total amount.
- If the Partner does not deliver their own invoice or tax document for the stated amount within 7 days of the statement date, the statement is deemed to be the tax document for the settlement and is used for accounting purposes.
- The Partner may upload their own invoice in the partner portal. Once received and accepted, the Partner’s invoice replaces the statement as the tax document.
- The Partner is responsible for the correctness of their tax details and for declaring and paying any taxes and contributions arising from the commission income in their own jurisdiction. The Company does not withhold taxes on the Partner’s behalf.
- VAT treatment follows the Partner’s country. For partners established in the EU the reverse charge mechanism applies where relevant; other partners are outside the scope of EU VAT.
7. Promotion rules
The Partner may promote WorxVPN on their own websites, social media, videos, newsletters and communities. The Partner must not:
- use unsolicited e-mail, spam, or any deceptive or misleading claims about the service,
- bid on the WorxVPN brand or its misspellings in paid search, or run ads that appear to originate from the Company,
- register domains, app names, or social accounts containing “WorxVPN” or confusingly similar wording,
- use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, adware, browser extensions that inject referral parameters, or any automated generation of clicks or orders,
- publish the referral code on coupon aggregators or discount sites without prior written consent,
- refer themselves, their own accounts, or place orders on behalf of others for the purpose of obtaining a commission,
- present the service in the context of illegal activity.
The Company’s name, logo, and marketing materials may be used only in unmodified form for the purpose of promoting the service.
8. Suspension and termination
- Either party may terminate participation at any time and without a reason. Commissions already approved for valid orders remain payable.
- The Company may suspend an account and withhold commissions where there is a reasonable suspicion of a breach of these terms, of fraud, or of artificially generated orders, for the time needed to investigate.
- Commissions obtained in breach of these terms may be cancelled in full.
9. Data protection
The Partner receives aggregate conversion data only. Customer e-mail addresses displayed in the partner portal are masked and no customer credentials or activity data are shared. The Company processes the Partner’s contact, billing and payout details for the purpose of running the program and meeting its accounting obligations. Details on the referral cookie are in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
The Company may update these terms. Partners are notified by e-mail of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the referral links or codes after the effective date is taken as acceptance of the new version. Commissions already approved are always settled under the terms in force when they were created.
