Using the WorxVPN app

The WorxVPN application is the same on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux — only the screen size differs. App language follows your device language automatically; if a language is not available, the app falls back to English (EN).

This article covers the first launch (and the same screen after you log out). More app sections will be added here later.

Get Started — three options

When you open the app for the first time (or after logout), you see Get Started with three choices:

WorxVPN Get Started screen
Get Started: Subscribe Now, I Already Have Credentials, Scan QR Code
  1. Subscribe Now — create / buy a new subscription (Sign-Up flow).
  2. I Already Have Credentials — type username and password from e-mail or admin.
  3. Scan QR Code — load credentials from the QR in admin → My Credentials.

Option A — Subscribe Now (new account)

Tap Subscribe Now. The app opens the Sign-Up flow (same idea as start.worxvpn.net): language, currency, program / period, then payment steps.

Use this if you already paid and received username + password.

  1. Tap I Already Have Credentials.
  2. Enter Username and Password.
  3. Tap Save.

Where to find the values:

  • Registration e-mail after payment, or
  • admin.worxvpn.netMy Credentials — use Show Password to reveal the password in the list.

Option C — Scan QR Code

Fastest on phone/tablet if you can show the QR from admin on another screen (or print / photo).

Scan QR Code camera screen
Scan QR Code — allow camera access when the system asks
  1. In admin → My Credentials click QR for your username.
  2. In the app tap Scan QR Code.
  3. Allow camera access if the operating system asks (needed only for scanning).
  4. Point the camera at the QR until it is recognized.

System permissions you may see

  • Camera — only for Scan QR Code.
  • VPN / network profile — when you sign in or connect for the first time, iOS, Android, Windows, macOS or Linux may ask you to allow creating a VPN configuration. Confirm / Allow so the app can connect.
